Happy Birthday Mildred

Saturday, May 15th was a very special day for Mildred Justo as she celebrated her 101st birthday! Mildred, our most senior volunteer member credits her long Gevity to staying busy. Each day Mildred spends hours knitting her special afghans for our veterans. Santa’s Magic is so privileged to distribute her special master pieces that provide comfort, and an expression of love, to many of our deserving military veterans. Mildred is quick to say that every day, as she wakes up, that she has a reason and purpose to live. Completing an afghan every other week is no small task……….but Mildred’s dedication toward our veterans is a lesson for all of us. Thanks Mildred for all you do for our veterans and for the example you provide to all of us! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mildred!!
